Terms and Conditions - 6-Month Spanish Program

These Terms and Conditions govern your enrollment and participation in the OlaLingo Campus 6-Month Spanish Program. By enrolling in the program, you agree to be bound by these terms in their entirety. Please read them carefully before proceeding with your registration.

1. Program Description

The 6-Month Spanish Program is an intensive language learning course designed to take students from beginner level to B1 proficiency in Spanish.

• Duration: 6 months (24 weeks)
• Levels covered: A1 → A2 → B1
• In-person hours (if applicable): Average of 20 hours per month (120 hours total)
• Online hours (if applicable): Average of 20 hours per month (120 hours total)
• Maximum total hours: Up to 240 hours depending on the selected pack

2. Available Packs

Three pack modalities are available:

🏫 In-Person Pack

Face-to-face classes in Medellín, Colombia. Includes access to cultural activities and language exchanges. Average of 20 hours of instruction per month.

💻 Online Pack

100% online classes with flexible scheduling. Access to digital materials and virtual platform. Average of 20 hours of instruction per month.

🔄 Hybrid Pack

Combination of in-person and online classes. Ideal for digital nomads and flexible learners. Custom distribution of hours between both modalities.

3. Payment Terms

Payment for the 6-Month Program is due according to the selected payment plan. All prices are in USD and may be converted to EUR or COP at the current exchange rate.

Payment Options

• Single Payment: Full amount paid upfront at enrollment. Includes a 10% discount on the total price.
• Per Level Payment: Payment divided into 3 installments, one before each level (A1, A2, B1). Each payment is due before the level begins.
• Monthly Payment: 6 equal monthly installments. First payment due at enrollment, subsequent payments due on the same day of each following month.

Binding Payment Commitment

IMPORTANT: Once you enroll and make your first payment, you are committing to the entire 6-month program. All scheduled payments are binding and must be completed regardless of your attendance or decision to discontinue the program.

4. Refund Policy

No Refund After First Class

⚠️ Once you have attended your first class or accessed your first online session, NO REFUNDS will be issued under any circumstances. This includes but is not limited to: change of mind, personal circumstances, relocation, schedule conflicts, or dissatisfaction with the program.

Before Program Start

Refund requests submitted BEFORE the first class may be considered under the following conditions:

• Request submitted in writing at least 14 days before the scheduled start date: 80% refund (20% administrative fee retained)
• Request submitted 7-13 days before start date: 50% refund
• Request submitted less than 7 days before start date: No refund

After Program Start

Once the program has started (first class attended or first online session accessed), the full program fee is due and non-refundable. There are NO exceptions to this policy.

5. Cancellation and Early Termination

6-Month Commitment

By enrolling in the 6-Month Program, you are making a binding commitment to complete the entire program. Early termination does not relieve you of your payment obligations.

Early Termination Penalties

If you choose to terminate your enrollment before completing the program, the following penalties apply:

• Termination in Month 1: 100% of remaining program fees are due immediately
• Termination in Month 2: 100% of remaining program fees are due immediately
• Termination in Month 3 or later: 100% of remaining program fees are due immediately. No pro-rata refunds.

Suspension vs. Termination

In case of medical emergency or force majeure (with documented proof), you may request a program suspension of up to 60 days. This does not constitute termination and does not affect your payment obligations. The program end date will be extended accordingly.

6. Subscription and Recurring Payments

For monthly payment plans, payments are processed automatically through Stripe.

Automatic Billing

By selecting a monthly payment plan, you authorize OlaLingo Campus to charge your payment method automatically on the scheduled dates. It is your responsibility to ensure sufficient funds are available.

Failed Payments

If a scheduled payment fails, you will be notified and given 5 business days to resolve the issue. Access to classes may be suspended until payment is received. Three failed payments will result in program termination with full remaining balance due immediately plus a 15% late fee.

⚠️ Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Consequences of Unauthorized Chargebacks

• Immediate termination of your enrollment with no refund
• Full remaining program balance becomes due immediately
• Additional administrative fee of $250 USD
• Potential referral to collection agencies
• Reporting to credit bureaus where applicable
• OlaLingo reserves the right to pursue legal action to recover all amounts owed plus legal fees

Dispute Resolution Waiver

You acknowledge that by making a payment, you waive your right to file a chargeback or dispute with your bank or credit card company for any reason related to the services described in these terms. This waiver is given in consideration of the discounted rates and flexible payment options offered by OlaLingo Campus.

7. Student Obligations

As a participant in the 6-Month Program, you agree to:

• Attend scheduled classes regularly (minimum 75% attendance required for certificate)
• Complete assigned homework and participate actively in class
• Respect teachers, staff, and fellow students
• Notify OlaLingo at least 24 hours in advance if you cannot attend a scheduled class
• Make all payments on time according to your selected payment plan

8. OlaLingo Obligations

OlaLingo Campus commits to providing:

• Qualified native Spanish-speaking teachers
• High-quality educational materials and resources
• A supportive learning environment
• The B1 Certificate upon successful completion of the program and passing the final evaluation

9. Schedule and Flexibility

Class schedules will be agreed upon at the beginning of the program based on teacher availability and your preferences.

Unused Hours

Unused class hours DO NOT carry over to the following month and are NOT refundable. It is your responsibility to schedule and attend your allotted hours each month.

Rescheduling Policy

Classes may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours notice, subject to teacher availability. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will be counted as attended.

10. Certificate

Upon successful completion of the 6-Month Program, you will receive the OlaLingo B1 Certificate. Requirements for certificate issuance:

• Completion of all 6 months of the program
• Minimum 75% class attendance
• Passing grade on the final B1 evaluation

11. Limitation of Liability

OlaLingo Campus provides language education services only. We do not guarantee employment, immigration outcomes, or any specific results beyond language proficiency. Our liability is limited to the value of services paid for. We are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your participation in the program.

12. Force Majeure

OlaLingo Campus is not liable for any failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, war, or civil unrest. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to continue services remotely or reschedule affected classes.

13. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Medellín, Colombia. By enrolling, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of these courts.

14. Modifications to Terms

OlaLingo Campus reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued participation in the program after such notice constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

You confirm that you understand the payment obligations and refund policy, and that you are making a binding commitment to complete the program.
